I was born in San Diego, California, but my boyhood years were spent scaling coconut trees and running barefoot on the reefs in the Fiji Islands. Attending Chinese primary school my friends were a rich mix of islanders, Asians and Europeans. After eight years playing Robinson Crusoe, my family and I moved back to the United States and settled in Tempe, Arizona, where I substituted fishing for prawns with walkabouts across the Sonoran desert.
In my mid 20's after a brief stint in the acting scene in Chicago, I arrived on the lush green shores of Ireland and immediately found work in a touring theater company. Falling under the spell of a couple o' pints of Guinness and a sing-song I made Dublin my home.
My training began at the Focus Theatre where I got me arse handed to me under the expert tutelage of the great and highly sought-after acting teacher the late Deirdre O'Connell of the Lee Strasberg Institute. I. Loved. It.
In July 2014, I left Ireland after 16 years and moved with my now-wife to Downtown L.A. and continue my training at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Allen Barton and Art Cohan.
Acting professionally on stage, television, and film, I am equally passionate about my voice-over work.
